The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is one of Canada's largest single-industry trade Associations. Their membership includes more than 100,000 real estate brokers, agents and salespeople, working through 100 real estate Boards and Associations across Canada.
We have worked with CREA on many exciting projects throughout the years. Most recently, we created an online contest to inspire Realtors, re-branded the Homebuyers' Road Map as well as created a toolkit for Parliamentarians.
For the 2015 Real Estate in Canada Toolkit, we created a clean, branded booklet that provides Parliamentarians with helpful information about the industry. Each section was tabbed to ensure that the document was easy to use and navigate. Large margins and white space make this document easy to digest - with callouts and infographics introduced throughout to highlight key information. Large branded angles and image slices kept this project looking great and on brand. We also opted for a hidden spiral binding to create a clean finished product.
The Homebuyers' Road Map was created to provide helpful information to first time homebuyers and to help them navigate the rules of the road when it comes to the home buying process. We created a unique sized, landscape booklet that is on brand with large image slices and angles to create visual interest. We introduced lots of white space to keep the content clean and easy to navigate.
This guide was created as part of a series for the Canadian Real Estate Association's National Leadership Program, which provides courses to help individuals develop their leadership skills. The design of these 40-page documents was kept clean and simple, with good use of white space and large margins to help guide the user through. We also introduced icons throughout to differentiate the elements within the guides, such as important information, reference documents and worksheets. Keeping to brand, the use of large blocks of colour and images give these content heavy guides some visual interest.
In early 2016, we designed and launched 2 Minutes To Win It, a unique campaign challenging REALTORS(r) to learn more about the benefits of REALTOR.ca. Each week for 6 weeks, we launched a new challenge and those who completed the challenge were entered into a weekly draw.
This campaign included branding, online videos and interactive and online collateral. The campaign was fun and innovative and we wanted to create a concept that would work well across all media. The branding lent itself well to the use of motion and video. Using simple but strong icons throughout each video helped to depict the challenge and kept REALTORS(r) engaged from start to finish.
