In 1994 Brent established a printing brokerage company, Moonlit Graphics, which evolved into Cyan Solutions as we know it today. In addition to playing on the football team, Brent is also a graduate of Carleton University. With over 34 years of experience, Brent has experienced vast changes in the marketing landscape and is always interested in new and creative ways to help companies communicate with their members and increase their revenue through strategic marketing tactics.
With diplomas from Algonquin College, Tania has managed the day-to-day workings of Cyan Solutions as our Director of Operations since October 2009. As such, Tania organizes our team from beginning to end – from estimates to production and everything in between. Tania’s prior experience managing teams within the public service — including with the Ottawa
Fire Service — has given her a solid background in establishing procedures and developing training programs,
Melanie is passionate about helping others succeed by building strong relationships with clients and colleagues based on collaboration, reliability, transparency, and respect. Melanie is fluently bilingual (English and French) and is involved within the community as the co-founder of the Ottawa Coffee Fest. She is a proud graduate of the Graphic Design program at Algonquin College and teaches part-time within the program.
Ahmad brings over 14 years of experience in marketing strategy, brand development, and campaign management. Having worked with global brands and agencies, he blends creativity with a data-driven approach to deliver measurable results. At Cyan Solutions, he leads internal and client marketing initiatives, including SEO, AEO, inbound marketing, HubSpot automation, and the integration of Generative AI to enhance marketing efficiency and content creation.
Chris began his career working at media agencies in NYC and has over 15 years of experience working on the buying side of television advertising. He loves dealing with people and building long-lasting relationships with clients that go beyond work. Chris also runs Velocity Media in Ottawa, where he oversees the bike rack advertising program for the City of Ottawa.
Lisa is a full-stack web developer with over 15 years of experience, specializing in custom WordPress builds that are fast, flexible, and built to last. She enjoys solving complex problems with clean, efficient code and takes pride in creating sites that are both functional and user-friendly. When not coding, you’ll likely find her at the archery range, working on a cross-stitch project, or enjoying live music.
Peter has over 25 years of experience as a graphic designer, having begun his career in Ottawa in 1996 after receiving degrees from Mount Allison University and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Peter applies his love of clean, clear design to projects big and small for clients in the arts, education, and high tech sectors, as well as for crown corporations, museums and NGOs.
Lila is a graphic designer and illustrator from Ottawa, Ontario. Well on her journey into the design world, Lila has a passion and drive for all things design, especially ones involving motion graphics and animation. As a graduate of the Graphic Design Program at Algonquin College, she has all the skills needed to create captivating designs in all forms of media.
Graphic Designer and Front-End Developer
Fuelled by energy drinks and a passion for thoughtful, intentional design, Preston is drawn to projects that challenge him creatively and push him to grow beyond his usual comfort zone. With a strong interest in UX/UI and visual systems, Preston continues to explore new techniques and perspectives. As a graduate of the Graphic Design Program at Algonquin College, Preston values collaboration, continuous learning, and creating work that feels both purposeful and refined.
Kara is a mischievous, creative rebel that likes nothing “normal” but let that chaos be organized, and let it be genuine and authentic. So with that, she is inspired by creating unique experiences that connect people in new ways; mostly small and intimate experiences but also happy run that office amazing race through your town.
