Is your organization eligible?
To qualify for a Google for Nonprofits account, you must be a recognized nonprofit charitable organization in a good standing position and meet the full eligibility requirements in your country. Your organization may not be a governmental entity, a hospital, or a healthcare organization, or a school, an academic institution, or a university. Philanthropic arms of educational organizations, hospitals, and healthcare organizations are eligible.
To be eligible for a Google for Nonprofits account, your Canadian nonprofit organization must be registered with the CRA – Canada Revenue Agency, as a:
- federal charity
- federal nonprofit organization
- provincial nonprofit organization
Organizations must be: (1) charities; (2) tax exempt nonprofit organizations operating on a nonprofit basis for the public benefit; (3) federal not-for-profit corporations; or (4) provincial nonprofits.
